About Meraki Paws

Hi my name is Iv and I have always lived in a home full of different animals. I grew up with chickens, cows, horses, dogs, cats, and I even had my own hedgehog for a time. This business gives me the enjoyment of seeing animals of all different shapes and sizes, and their different personalities. Pet sitting give me the honor of giving people the opportunity to leave their home and know, without a doubt, that their animals are in great hands. I try my hardest to love and care for each animal as if their owners were there taking care of them.

I started training dogs at the age of 8 years old in 4-H, and I fell in love. I've wanted to make this a carreer since then but never understood the business aspect of dog training until 3 years ago, when my mentor took me under her wing and presented me with opportunities to make this a reality. I've been active in training dog since 8 years old, but I teach people how to train their dogs because I enjoyed it. I love seeing the development in both the owner and the dog as training progresses.
